The Memphis Zoo

More than 3,500 animals call The Memphis Zoo home. You'll experience animals from all over the world - even lions, tigers, and bears… oh my! We encourage you to visit their website to plan your special day accordingly.

Also, be sure to check out the benefits of purchasing a Zoo membership. Even if you're only visiting Memphis for a short time it might be beneficial to purchase a family membership. Plus, one zoo visit might not be enough for your little ones (and perhaps even the big kids in your family too)!

Shelby Park Farms

Shelby Park Farms has something for every member of your family! Take a long walk or bike ride on the Shelby Farms Greenline, a 6.5 mile urban trail connecting the park to Midtown Memphis. Vegan or Vegetarian?

We know all too well what it's like being on vacation and having difficulty ordering food when trying to avoid particular allergens. If you are vegan, we highly suggest checking out Imagine Vegan Cafe at 2158 Young Avenue in Memphis.

We also recommend LYFE Kitchen. LYFE Kitchen is a relatively new addition to the Memphis landscape and is located conveniently downtown at 272 S. Main Street and in East Memphis at 6201 Poplar Ave.

If you would like more recommendations, we suggest visiting Memphis' very own Bianca Phillips' blog Vegan Crunk: Eatin' Vegan in the Dirty South.
